Presented in partnership with Centre for Stories, these weekly sessions invite beginners and community members new to dramatic writing, to build confidence, community and creative skills. Led by local playwright Barbara Hostalek, each session will foster creativity and expression through a variety of dramatic writing styles.

Cost: $12 per session or $50 for all sessions.

About the Program

The Expressive Writers Group is a relaxed and informal group, for those with a curiosity and willingness to explore dramatic writing.

Join local playwright, Barbara Hostalek, on a Wednesday evening for a 1.5 hour session focussed on dramatic writing. You do not need any previous experience in writing or theatre to participate, the program is open to community members and non-professional writers, with focussed support for First Nations, CALD, and POC communities.

Location: Centre For Stories, 100 Aberbeen Street, Northbridge

Cost: $12 per session or $50 all sessions

Places are limited and registration is essential. Early registration is encouraged. Please note you must be 18 years or over to register.
